Premiered at Grace & St. Peters in Baltimore in February of 1974, and a second night at the Peabody Conservatory, George Skipworth's Requiem Mass was set for an ensemble of 16 singers, organ and assorted instruments. It reflects the avant-garde style of the decade, later to be abandoned for a more traditional approach
